Worm Lodge Wormery

VermiSell have developed this revolutionary wormyry with the help of GTH Designs. We wanted a wormery made from recycled plastic, to be manufactured in the UK (not Australia) incorporate the beauty of the Wooden Beehive Wormery, which our customer's love so much and meet the exacting standards of VermiSell.
Why we love the Worm Lodge:
1) Beautiful to look at and can be featured at home instead of hidden away round the back.
2) With the pitched rood the air ventilation is maintained whilst keeping out the majority of rain water.
3) Double wall thickness due to the unique manufacturing process, most of the other plastic wormeries only have one wall. Double wall thickness keeps the cold out in winter and the heat out in summer. Worms like temperatures to be constant, fluctuations cause problems in a wormery.
4) 64 air holes per layer allow air, water and most importantly the worms to move between the layers.
5) The Rigidity of the double wall thickness provides more strength, which is required as a full wormery can weigh over 30kg (60lbs).
6) The worm tea collection tank has a tap so you can drain off the liquid, we call worm tea, which when diluted is an excellent natural fertiliser for pot plants or vegetable plots.
7) It's made in the UK (80 miles from VermiSell warehouse) from recycled plastic. We think it's important to keep the carbon footprint down on our products, especially when they are aimed at recycling and avoiding transport from Australia. Some of our competitor’s products come 12,000 before you can use them, not the Worm Lodge. We guarantee that your Worm Lodge will only have travelled 100 miles before we send it to you.
